Title: eKRAD Pricing and Availability

I had sent an email to eKRAD yesterday regarding the release of the eKRAD in the US. Here's the email that I got back from them this morning:

Hello Evan,
 
we have several inquiries from US distributors, who'd like to import the eKrad. However, we haven't started the series production yet, because we are still changing setups and components until the bike fulfills our expectations. This claims a lot of time, but it'll be worth it! We expect to have it ready by the end of the year.

I have emailed Richard again regarding US pricing. I will let everyone know when I hear back from them. :)

Thanks a lot for the information!  Would be nice to have 3 bikes racing at next years mini moto sx :D

UPDATE: Here is the email I just received back from Richard at eKRAD.

10000 works out to be... about $13,616.72 US Dollars.

Thanks for the update.  Yeah, not cheap.

I wonder how steep 10000� + tax is for eKRAD's European target market.  I don't have much of a feel for how far 1� goes in countires that use that currency.  I should travel overseas more often. :-/
